    Observations : The deceased was a farmer. On that fateful night he chased off an elephant, with two others, because the elephant was trying to damage a neighbour’s house. The second time he tried to chase the elephant, it turned back and killed him. The elder daughter is married. Priyadharshani is doing the GCE A/L in 2010. The younger son has been sent to become a priest.

    Observations : The deceased was a tourist guide and worked at Sigiriya. On that day at around 7.30pm a single male elephant killed him when on his way back home. His wife had committed suicide 7 years ago. Mahesh has been sent to become a priest. Dinusha is in grade 11(2010). She lives with her uncle, who is in the Navy.
